Lauren is the Vice President, dCarbon Ventures at BKV Corporation, overseeing Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) initiatives in support of BKV’s ambitious Net Zero goals. Lauren’s career passion is to modernize the management of natural gas resources to provide clean and reliable energy. Lauren is an experienced leader in both engineering and operations with a proven track record of increasing production, decreasing emissions, reducing costs, managing resources efficiently, operating safely and responsibly, and using technology and automation effectively.

Prior to BKV, Lauren worked at ExxonMobil where she spent a decade overseeing seven unconventional plays across California, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming. During this time, Lauren served in reservoir engineering, operations engineering, and asset management roles across the full well lifecycle from early-stage geologic studies, resource estimation, prospecting, and D&C design to late-stage profitability optimization, remedial well work, and P&A.

Lauren received a BS from The University of Utah, where she graduated cum laude.

In her free time, Lauren dabbles in musical pursuits, debates the various merits of pet chickens, and tries to level-up mountain and water sport skills with her husband and two children.
