Barry is the Chief Accounting Officer of BKV, joining the company in November 2022. In his role, Turcotte is responsible for overseeing the accounting and external reporting functions of the organization.

With over 30 years of in the accounting/finance profession, and two decades of oil & gas experience, Turcotte most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Chief financial Officer of Crestone Peak Resources, a privately held oil and natural gas company based in Denver since May 2017. Prior to that role, Turcotte was the Chief Accounting Officer of RSP Permian, Inc. (NYSE: RSPP), a publicly listed oil and natural gas company based in Dallas, Texas since April 2014. Turcotte also held progressive positions of responsibility with Swift Energy Company (NYSE: SFY), a publicly listed oil and natural gas exploration and production company based in Houston, Texas, culminating with his role as the Vice President of Accounting and Controller. Turcotte began his career as an auditor working in the energy group of Ernst & Young LLP in Houston, Texas

Turcotte is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston in 1992 and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston in 2000.

In his free time, Barry enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
