SEO is easy. Anyone can learn best practices and all the technical aspects. But, to be good, you have to know when to use them. To be great? Connect really clever marketing.
After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in design and having spent four years in marketing, Greg explored search engine optimization as an integrated part of web development and design in 2004 — the days of Google, Yahoo and MSN. Later, as an SEO research and development technician, he developed new strategies according to the ever-changing search engine algorithms, crawler technology, website technology, search engine services and SEO tools. As DRUM’s Director of SEO, Greg develops client-customized technical and content-based website optimization services, as well as offsite link building, content distribution and social media influencer strategies; he’s made it work for clients like March of Dimes, Children International and Delta Community Credit Union.
When Greg’s not buried in keywords, you can find him playing with his children, watching anime and CGI movies, or reading about cars.
